Cristina Martínez Pinto is Founder and CEO of PIT Policy Lab, where she advances technology policy and AI governance models across Latin America and the Caribbean. She brings more than 12 years of experience leading multisectoral initiatives focused on the responsible and inclusive design, development, and deployment of emerging technologies. Trained in International Relations at Tecnológico de Monterrey and in Public Policy at Georgetown University, she works at the intersection of innovation, governance, and human flourishing. Cristina is a Responsible AI Fellow with the Stimson Center and Microsoft, and a Fellow of Virginia Tech’s Institute for Leadership in Technology and Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy. She is also a member of UNESCO’s AI Ethics Experts Without Borders and Women4Ethical AI (W4EAI). She is the author of numerous publications on digital transformation, artificial intelligence, gender, and the Sustainable Development Goals.
