I'm a Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at Rice University, where I have taught since completing my graduate studies at UT Austin in 2016.

My primary areas of research are epistemology and formal epistemology, and particularly in the intersection of the two.  My writing has been focused on the rational significance of experience, and how that significance is best reflected in Bayesian models of rational belief and rational belief revision.

My secondary areas of research are logic, particularly the normative significance of formal logic, and the history of modern.
