Current Research: Dr. Baruch Brody specializes in the field of medical ethics with various publications on the ethical recruitment of research patients, placebo-controlled clinical trials, surgical ethics, protecting human dignity, and the religious basis behind these standards of conduct. He is currently writing a book on bioethics and conducts NIH-funded research on the implementation of new ethical requirements on conducting research in emergency settings.
